DROP-OFF ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE COLISEUM
*Please allow at least 1 hour for drop-off*

It is always BEST to drop-off your own items 

AT DROP-OFF EXPECT THE FOLLOWING:

1. Complete Online Waiver Before Coming Inside
2. Bring 1 small tagged item inside
3. Check in at the computer 
4. Go back and Unload Vehicle
5. Check for recalls
6. Complete Yellow Tags for Large Items and Drop-off 
7. Place your items on sale floor (it is recommended to have your clothes sorted by size, gender, and category)
8. Have all clothing, shoes, car seats, and electronics inspected ON THE SALE FLOOR

If you are bringing large items, we cannot always guarantee that someone will be able to assist you with unloading. If possible, please plan on bringing your own "muscle" for these items.

When you arrive you will check-in on the EAST side of the COLISEUM and place your items on the sale floor.

PICK UP

 

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY-Sign Ups Open 2021

PICK-UP AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE OF THE COLISEUM (Bring ID)

*please allow at least 30 minutes for pick-up*

    • All items not picked up by 5:01pm will be donated.
    • WE REQUEST ONLY CONSIGNORS PICK UP THEIR UNSOLD ITEMS. You can send a friend to pick up your items for you with a note indicating your preference, but no phone calls or late pick-ups will be accepted on pick-up day.

AT PICK-UP EXPECT THE FOLLOWING:

1. Check in and show your ID
2. Give your pick-up form to a JBF Team Member “Runner” who will locate your consignor box and items
3. Return to your Vehicle and wait to be notified your items are ready
4. Drive to loading dock to collect your items

Items not picked up will be donated to Rust Street Ministries. The donation truck will be loaded at 5:01pm and no entrance will be given to anyone who is late. We must vacate the building at our scheduled time and it is not possible for us to take items not picked up home with us.

• Baby Equipment
• ALL household furniture
• Kid Books
• All Pool Toys, Swimsuits, Swim Gear
• Games, Movies, DVD's
• Kids Room Decor
• ANYTHING that has to do with raising a newborn to a teen (for spring & summer)!

Non-Acceptable Items:
• Drop-Side Cribs
• Recalled Items
• Fall/Winter Dresses
• Longsleeve/Heavy Tops
• Fall/Winter shoes
• Home Décor
• Breast Pumps
• VHS & Cassette tapes
• Stained, Torn, or Broken Items
• Incomplete Items (missing pieces/parts)
• Generic Stuffed Animals
• Rock & Plays
• Inclined Sleepers
• Crib Bumpers (all kinds) & Teething Rails
• Any Item 5+ years old (bicycle helmets no older than 3 years)

Please Note: For each item consignors bring to the sale that is broken, damanged, has coroded batteries, or is returned after purchase, a $5 Fee will be assessed. There is also a $1 Fee for each replacement battery JBF provides. Please inspect all items for quality and ensure they are in working order to avoid extra fees. 

Supplies & Tags


You must tag all items using our online tagging and barcoding system.

Please make sure that your 7 digit universal consignor number is correct on every tag. You may find your consignor number on the your JBF Profile or on the confirmation email you received when you registered. MYJBFTAGS features

 With our Tagging Site you can:

  • Track sold items online instantly
  •  Detailed inventory lists (donations report)
  •  Print at home, no waiting
  •  Records from sale to sale


If you want to donate your unsold items at the end of the sale, choose the donate option. Any items not picked up during consignor pick up times will be donated to our charity partner, Rust Street Ministries.

You set your own price on all items. Price to sell! Generally items sell for 1/3 of the original price, depending on name brand and condition. Better brand names, unique items, or high price items usually bring more. Ask yourself "What would I pay for this item? Please use $.25 price increments only (i.e.; $8.00, $3.25, $5.50, $4.75). Any overpriced items will be pulled from the sales floor. 

If you decide to NOT let your item go for half price, it will print a star on the tag. This tells the customer that the item will remain Full Price throughout the sale. Please be selective on the items that you star, since items with no stars tend to sell better on the discount days. If you are donating your items at the end of the sale, please do not choose for your item to remain full price.

Print your tags on white CARDSTOCK ONLY You can also change your printer to just black and white.

  • Access to computer and printer
  • Stain remover

Most of these items can be found at the original HEB a few months before the sale, just look for the JBF sign.

FREE hangers can be found at most local dry cleaners or wire hangers are very cheap at Walmart.

If you prefer to use a tagging gun instead of safety pins you can purchase tagging guns from Hobby Lobby or online at www.storesupply.com. Please be sure to use the gun ONLY in the manufactures tag or in the inside seam of the item to avoid damanging clothing. Items with tags directly into the clothing will be pulled from the sales floor as they will then have a hole and not meet guidelines. 

Tagging Clothing, Maternity, & Juniors


$3.00 RULE:
If a single, hanging clothing item will not sell for $3.00 on its own, please pair it with something that will bring it to this amount. This only applies to hanging clothing, not toys/equipment or bagged items.
QUALITY CONTROL:
JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS will be conducting strict inspection on clothes, shoes, toys, & electronics. Unacceptable items will be returned or donated based on your tags
HANGERS:
ANY HANGERS ARE ACCEPTABLE TO USE. Clothes must be hung on hangers with the hook pointing to the left and the tag on the right shoulder if you are facing the item. (Make a question mark with the hanger)
SAFETY PINS:
Please use 1" or larger safety pins: no straight pins or small gold ones. Please be sure the pin size matches the garment to avoid damage. 
TAG LOCATION:
Attach tag with a safety pin to the upper right pocket area of the shirt or upper right front of pants. *If you use a tag gun please insert the gun in a tag/label or inside seam NOT through part of the clothing (to avoid making a hole or tear in the clothing).*

  • Please sew loose hems and make sure zippers, buttons and snaps work properly.
  • Please check clothing for current fashion. Help keep our reputation of only the best!!

MATERNITY:
Must be in excellent condition. All Season Maternity Clothing is allowed. Please do not bring out-dated maternity clothes. They will not be accepted.
• Please secure the tops with safety pins if they have a tendency to fall off the hanger.
• Breastfeeding tops are accepted with maternity clothing.
• Other Maternity Items: belly bands, pregnancy books, etc. sell well.

JUNIORS:

Tagging Equipment & Furniture

FURNITURE:
Furniture sells really well. All kinds of children’s & household furniture will be accepted. To keep our reputation of 'only the best', JBF asks that you be very selective about the quality of your furniture. All furniture must be intact and sturdy. Children's play furniture will be accepted as well. Sorry we will no longer accept household décor – only children’s room decor.


EQUIPMENT:
• Infant equipment includes: Car seats, strollers, high chairs, swings, exersaucers, bouncy seats, boppies, play gyms, pack and plays and bassinets.
• Car seats & Bases must have at least 1 year remaining (from the last sale date) before they expire and must have the owner’s manual. A checklist must also be completed prior to selling with JBF. Please see bottom of this page. 
• Large toys and outdoor play equipment must be clean, free of dirt and or water. Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work well on these items. Must include all pieces. Name brands sell well.

Tagging Shoes

SHOES:
• Please be aware of our goal....to be the BEST in the consignment business. All shoes are inspected.
• Shoes with dirt or mud will not be accepted.
• Must be tied in pairs with a ziptie or put the shoes in a clear baggie. Laces and shoes must be in excellent condition.
• Attach a tag with a large safety pin to the laces or put the tag in the baggie with the shoes.
• Be PICKY on shoes!
• SPRING/SUMMER shoes are accepted at our March/April events and FALL/ WINTER shoes are accepted at our Sept/Oct events.
• For shoes with no laces, put them together in a Ziploc bag with the tag inside the bag. Tape the bag closed with heavy packing tape.

Tagging Books, Videos, Music, & Electronics

BOOKS, VIDEOS, MUSIC & ELECTRONICS:
JBF accepts all books in good condition. Board, cloth, picture, chapter, educational, home school curriculum, etc.
JBF accepts music and videos that is child appropriate. No R-rated materials. JBF reserves the right to remove anything deemed inappropriate off the sales floor.
Electronics sell like CRAZY! JBF accepts gaming systems, games, iPods, mp3 players, computer software, Gameboys, etc.

Tagging Toys

TOYS:
• All toys will be inspected
• Must be in working order
• Batteries included (you can get batteries very inexpensively at the Dollar Store, $1 fee for each battery we must replace)
• Recently cleaned
• Small parts should be bagged and taped to the main part very securely. Use HEAVY packing tape.  If parts get separated, it will not sell.
• Games and puzzles should have all pieces and be tied or taped closed.
• Several small items can be grouped together in Ziploc bags (books, rattles, grab bags for small toys).
• We will ONLY accept licensed (Disney, Nickelodeon, etc), oversized, or taking stuffed animals that are LIKE NEW! No other stuffed animals will be accepted.

Tagging Loose Items

LOOSE ITEMS:
Like bibs, cloth diapers, bottles, small toys, bows, socks, etc. must be in clear Ziploc bags with the tag attached to the inside or outside of the bag with clear tape. Use clear packing tape for securing the bags closed. This prevents 'little' hands from reaching in. USE STURDY BAGS!! These items are handled a lot, thin bags will be torn and items misplaced. Please use strong bags to ensure your items safety. 

Knit, fleece and boutique baby blankets and Snuggies should be hung over a pant hanger. Be sure to put a safety pin on them so they don't fall off the hanger. Receiving blankets should be bundled together and either tied with ribbon or taped.

Tagging Bedding

NOTE: Crib Bumpers of all kinds are not allowed. Please be sure to remove them from your sets or the entire set will be pulled from the sales floor.

VALET OPENING NOW OPEN YEAR ROUND!! 

Valet Consignors earn 40% less a $15 consignor fee and a $15 supply fee. Valet consignors who help at the sale earn up to 50% on their sold items and can have their consignor fee WAIVED by helping at breakdown!! (Sign up for helping at the sale opens 2021) Additional fees may apply and are outlined in the waiver.

Here's how it works:

1.  Review and complete the Valet Waiver ONLINE before drop off. 

2. Register for the upcoming sale as a consignor.

3. Join our Facebook Consignor Group for up to date information and to schedule a drop off appointment. Drop off schedules can also be found below. 

3. Follow the Valet Merchandise Prep Guidelines and Drop Off your items.

4. You will be assigned a tagger who will sort, prep, price, tag, store, and deliver your items to the sale for you. Your tagger earns 20% of items sold for their service. 

5. Admire your clean house and watch your sales grow! Pick up of unsold items is the responsibility of each consignor.
