Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who can earn the bonus? Any seller who brings 5 of the items listed, prices them to JBF standards (including allowing them to reduce), and completes the verification at drop off is eligible. Valet Sellers & Quick Cash sellers do not qualify.
2. Do the items have to be originally owned by the seller? For the most part, NO! We welcome you to find these items at a local garage sale, get them from a friend who doesn't want to sell, etc and use them to qualify. The only exception to this is cribs and car seats for travel systems. For these items you must be the original owner to verify safety information. These items will also need a completed safety waiver and manual.
3. What if I use (or bring more to) mid-sale drop off? Can I qualify for the bonus? YES! Midsale drop off is treated just like regular drop off. If you bring items to both regular and midsale, you will be responsible for ensuring you inform the team member at check in that you will need to bring more items so a form can be completed. You will not receive the $40 JBF bucks until all items have been verified.
4. Do the items have to sell? No, but when these hot sellers are priced well they FLY off the sales floor! All eligible items must be reasonably priced in accordance with JBF standards and allowed to reduce on 1/2 price day. Please refer to our Get Started Cheat Sheet for tips on pricing.
5. I have more than 1 of the same item, can I bring duplicates to qualify? Yes! You can more than one of the same item from the list and as long as they meet safety and quality standards and follow the pricing rules.
